According to Section 50 Paragraph 2 Clause 1 No. 2 EStDV (Income Tax Implementation Ordinance), a simplified proof of donation is possible for donations up to € 200.00; i.e. a data medium (payment slip/bank statement) on which the amount and recipient (foundation) are clearly identifiable and attributable is sufficient as proof; a proper donation receipt is then not necessary.
